- Beginners: Start on the west side of the mountain from Union Creek base area. There are 3 lifts here (Kokomo, High Point and Lumberjack). You can also get ready in a day lodge, receive lift tickets and so forth.
- Ski Lessons: Make reservations ahead of time. Lessons will sell out over holiday periods. Do a group lesson to save money.
- Fly into Eagle County: Save time by flying into Eagle County Regional Airport. It is about an hours drive to Copper.
- Non-Peak Times: Book your vacation on non-peak times or mid week to have the slopes to yourself and save on lodging and lift tickets.
