Paul came to our hotel loaded down with tons of boots and our skis. Unfortunately, none of the ski boots fit me properly. Paul, with a great attitude, said he'd be back in about 20 minutes with more boots. Sure enough, it was not long before Paul returned with a new selection of boots. We found a size/brand that fit well and all in the convenience of our room. The equipment was well maintained and of great quality. When it came time to turn in the equipment, we wanted to hit the bars after the slopes - not go back to the room. No problem! Paul met us in the parking lot of the ski resort and picked up our equipment. Because of Ski Butlers, we were able to avoid the long, daily lines at the ski rental counter which allowed us to sleep in later. We will DEFINITELY use Ski Butlers again and we've told our friends about the service. Brilliant idea for a equipment rental business!

I am a 9.5 boot and was given XL bindings so my first day of riding was ruined by a toe strap that kept coming off mid run. A 9.5 boot does not require XL bindings - this was obviously a mistake on the shops part. The base of the snowboard also needs attention as there were many cuts & gashes - I understand rental equipment is rental equipment but I would recommend ptex and normal maintenance.. Good thing is your guy brought me a smaller size binding that night so thank you.

Hi there
I've used you before and was very impressed however on this occasion your guys did not arrive to collect the equipment on the specified day. I tried to ring and mail you to resolve this but your voicemail box was full and I received no response to the mails.
In the end I left the equipment with the resort manager and have as yet still not heard if you collected it ok.
The equipment was great and the drop off was brillian with the guys giving very helpful advice and assistance.

I was very pleased with the service we received from Ski Butlers in S. Lake Tahoe. The two man team that worked with us were very courteous, punctual, and facilitated any changes we needed. I highly recommend them to anyone.
My only complaint is when initially renting online, the dates section does not allow for all scenarios; i.e. one day rental added on if you have a two-day coupon.

My friend and I had our equipment brought to us at Embassy Suites in Tahoe. She was used to her old boots and when she skied on the rentals she said she'd throw away her boots because the rentals fit so well. Both of us also loved the performance of the skis.
I don't know if we could have saved money going elsewhere, but we sure saved time.

This is the second time we rented from Skibutler. Both are with highly satisfied experience. The eqipments are exactly as we would like to have which suited our ability well.
It is so enjoyable that you do not have to carry heavy skis to and from airports and the eqipments are to be delivered and pick up in your own room at Resort. We are very impressed by the

Overall the friendliness of your staff is top notch. Delivery and pick up was right on time and very convenient. We got our skis in Heavenly and dropped off at Squaw...very nice! That said, we had some problems with the equipment (my Dad's poles and skis were way too short) and we didn't want to go through the hassle of making an appointment to exchange them. In that case it may have been more convenient to just walk over to the local rental shop and do a quick exchange. Having things brought to you on a silver platter is nice...but not always the most convenient. In their defense, SkiButlers asked us (begged us) to let them know if any adjustments were needed. We just didn't want to sit around waiting for them.....it was a personal choice. Next time, given a convenient local shop location, I would choose to rent from a shop.

Even though a couple of mistakes took place, it was the personality of the young men that blew us away. They were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. They were humble and a calming and destressing presence in the sometimes frustrating process of fitting boots, especially for a 10 year old! And, that was ALL three of the guys we met. We were at Winterpark, CO over Christmas and had only wished that they had such services. They need it bad there. I just think, from our experiences of service, that you might have to ship some of your own personnel from Lake Tahoe there. You would be extremely successful then. Good luck!

Could he have told us that the lift tickets were good for the rest of the yr & it wasn't his responsibility? I did not realize that I needed to schedule a pickup time. My receipt showed a pickup time from 4-6 PM and so I thought this was my scheduled time. Ski Butlers was great to work with. Our flight was delayed a couple of times and they accommodated the changes in schedule. They arrived early the next morning and had our equipment ready in time to hit the slopes first thing. The equipment was top notch. When one member of our party couldn't ski the last two days, they picked up her skis and refunded the balance. I'll definitely use them again.

We highly recommend Ski Butlers! They were very prompt and even came back the next morning to exchange my husband's boots for a different size. We will definitely use them again on our next trip to Lake Tahoe.

We really enjoyed using Ski Butlers. They came to our house promptly at 8am, were really friendly and gave us lots of information and advice on the ski fields. Our only disappointment was not having twin tip skis available for our 15 year old son. Other than that Ski Butlers were AWESOME!!! We need them in NZ.

They showed up on time and were very friendly. We needed them to come out to switch out one of our boots after the first day of skiing and they were so accommodating. We changed our return/pick up time and they were able to accommodate us. Great team and we will definitely use them again.

One referral from my timeshare representative at Wyndham Zephyr Cove and one telephone call to Ski Butlers and we were set to go skiing at Heavenly. The delivery to our timeshare was on time, fitting was simple and returning merchandise was easy. This service saved so much time from standing in line at the resort.

We've been skiing in Lake Tahoe during Christmas week for several years. This was the first year we used Ski Butlers. But, I can assure you we will be using them again from now on.
First, it was very convenient to have someone come to our room to fit us for boots and skis instead of waiting in line at the ski shop. The guys were very helpful, friendly, and accomodating.
I had a slight issue with my boots on the first day. I called Ski Butlers, they sent someone to the main lodge at Heavenly to fix it. He arrived within 10 minutes and had the issue resolved within a few seconds.
I cannot say enough about the excellent service we received from Ski Butlers. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

The service I received from start to finish was truly exceptional. It was quite apparent the goal was not just to get myself and family in equipment, but rather, the correct equipment for our ability and experience, as well as expected conditions. The inidividuals we dealt with were both knowledgeable and personable, and left us feeling we were in 'good hands'. Of course, the flexibility and ease of delivery/pick-up goes without saying. The gentleman who delivered my equipment was named Bill. He was very knowledgeable about the equipment at hand, and also about the mountain I had planned to ride. Bill even gave me a few good ideas on where to ride given my skill level. I plan to use Ski Butlers again the next time I go to the mountains.

The service was great and the price is reasonable. Rather than mentioning a $15 charge for change from skis to snowboards and saying it would be waived, why not just have a fixed daily rate regardless of change and discount 10% or so for extending.
Conceptually great business idea and execution was perfect. One little flaw is incorrect billing which I'm sure you guys will fix.

We had an equipment failure with 1 set of skis which was resolved expeditiously after a phone call. We also left gloves and a ski jacket at home 4 hours away and it was nice to know clothing can be rented for the forgetfuls.

Their equipment is great with the ski's waxed and edges sharpened and were excellent when I wanted to change ski's after the first day. Their service is first class and their rates compare favorably to the resorts. I saved time and money and will definitely continue to use Ski Butler's in the future!

Your service is Top-Notch. Our trip to South Lake Tahoe, CA was great. Sean and the rest of guys at SKI Butlers took the headache out of renting equipment. We had a snow board binding break on the mountain and you guys met us at the bottom and fixed it. I call that great service. The convenience of having the equipment brought to you at your hotel and then picked up when your done can not be talked about enough. Best experience ever when renting skis. Knowledgeable staff came right to our condo and brought and picked up everything we needed. The only thing I would suggest is to add a package that includes helmets. $8.00 seemed a little high to add but definately worth it. I like to get a set price instead of having to get a low price and then be forced to add extras. But still a great experience and we will definitely rent for you again.
