Breckenridge — Your Family Needs a Sandwich

What’s the secret to being able to endure a full 8:30am to 4pm ski day? An awesome lunchtime retreat that takes you into a warm environment for an hour for your body to defrost and to refuel the body for the second half of the day! Let’s face it, a full ski day is exhausting, so it’s important to spend some tine during the day relaxing and recharging before hitting the lifts again for the afternoon push. Here are some local recommendations for you and your family and friends to take advantage of next time you are in Breckenridge.

On mountain options are a good way to get in and get back to the slopes quickly. The Sevens, located at the base of Peak seven, a 2 ½ ton open hearth oven with bistro style food. Featuring outside bar service, a warm atmosphere, an inside seating area to let the toes defrost, and a new Sevens-to-Go window for a quick snack or coffee, the Sevens is a great all around pick for lunch on Breckenridge’s slopes.

On the opposite end of the spectrum there is the local’s favorite sandwich place; Duggan’s Deli. This hole in the wall sandwich shop is a local’s secret that is down in the actual town of Breckenridge instead of on the resort. Duggan’s deli is a relatively inexpensive place to get an awesome sandwich while also getting a chance to get off the slopes via the gondola and experience the town of Breckenridge the way locals do!
