Great Equipment Facilitates a Great Experience: Ski Butlers showcases award-winning 2018 – 19 skis from Rossignol

For over a century, Rossignol has been manufacturing top-performing winter sports gear. As one of the top-selling brands in both North America and Europe, the iconic French company, born in the Alps of Chamonix, continually creates innovative ski and snowboard equipment designed to enhance the skier or riders experience on the mountain. The new fleet available through Ski Butlers is no exception. Every model in the new 18 – 19 line-up provides a level of versatility to where you almost can’t choose the wrong ski,” says Nick Castagnoli, Rossignol’s Brand and Communications Manager. Of course, with Ski Butlers support service all it takes is a quick phone call and you can switch out your skis as often as you like.” Whether you want to carve up the groomers or float through the powder, the following industry award-winning skis can help you enhance your ski experience at your favorite resort.

Rossignol Experience 88 Ti

The Experience 88 Ti blends race technology, a freeride profile and a sturdy, metal-reinforced construction. LCT (Line Control Technology) includes a visible power rail” centered down the ski from tip to tail, designed to increase stability and smooth snow contact. The Air Tip VAS dampens vibration and stabilizes the ski while the Progressive Sidecut and tip rocker add all-mountain performance to the 88-mm-waisted ski. The new Experience range is looser, more playful, and more freeride-oriented than previous versions,” says Castagnoli. Though redesigned to be more playful and stable in variable terrain, the race construction also means you can make high speed turns down your favorite groomer.

Rossignol Experience 84 W

At 84 mm underfoot, the Experience 84 W is narrow enough to carve both slalom and GS turns, yet wide enough to manage variable snow conditions. New Air Tip VAS technology lightens the swing weight in the tip and absorbs vibrations for a smoother ride, further enhanced by the shock-absorbing elastomer located below the ski tip. The dampening technology works in concert with the weight-conscious basalt core. Thanks to the rounder tip and tail in Rossignol’s Progressive Sidecut profile, the Experience 84 has a playful personality — with the ability to charge hard or play soft.

Soul 7 HD

Powder enthusiasts will rejoice about the redesigned 7‑Series. The Soul 7 continues to be one of the most intuitive and easy skis anywhere on the hill,” says Castagnoli. Staying at a generous 106-mm waist width, the Soul 7 will feel more maneuverable this season thanks to Rossignol’s Air Tip 2.0, a 3D structure integrated into the tip designed to add stability and reduce swing weight. Rossi’s Freeride rocker profile includes a low tip and tapered tail for flotation, plus camber underfoot for hard snow performance. The Soul 7 HD W for women has the same 106 mm waist and construction— the skis are made with a lightweight carbon alloy and paulownia blend — that results in a strong and versatile ride for a variety of skier types.

One LF

There are some days on the hill when it’s hard to predict what conditions you may encounter. Enter the One LF. Park, all-mountain, pow, the One LF is without a doubt one of the most versatile and intuitive boards in the line,” says Castagnoli. Dubbed the most versatile board in the collection” by Rossignol, this award-winning all-mountain twin board has a moderately stiff flex from the waist through the rear with a slightly softer flex underfoot. Shock absorption, stability and a supple flex pattern come from L.I.T.E. Frame technology, which includes a urethane strip around the board plus a wood core laminated with basalt and Kevlar fibers. Serrated Edges add extra bite on edge when cruising or charging.
