Changes at Steamboat

Steamboat

With the shortest day of the year behind us, more sunshine skiing is on the horizon. While Vail Resorts has made it very clear how their passes are going to work this year, those smaller resorts that offer multiple ski day lift tickets have released news about how they’ll manage this upcoming season. Steamboat Resort introduced the Heavenly Daze Duel Season Pass” for 2020/2021.

What this pass provides is seven days of skiing or riding with no blackout dates, which is perfect for planning that holiday ski vacation through Ski Butlers. The really interesting part about this pass is that any unused days will be automatically rolled over into the 21 – 22 winter season. These passes will go between $349-$599 depending on your age and you can now purchase your pass on their site. Along with those seven days of skiing there are also a few added benefits of the Heavenly Daze Pass, including 30% off lodging and lessons and night skiing access for every day you ski at Steamboat.

Along with this new pass, Steamboat has also started to revitalize their resort ever since being bought out by Alterra Mountain Resorts by beginning construction on a new gondola called the Wild Blue Gondola. This new gondola will be the longest in North America, running at 3.16 miles long, surpassing the old longest gondola that was 3.1 miles at Silver Mountain. The gondola will have a mid station at the Bashor Bowl learning area before ascending Sunshine Peak for a full top to bottom run. They’ve also begun an expansion of 355 acres on Pioneer Ridge that will be accessible by the Pony Express Lift with plans to eventually add a detachable lift right up to the ridge.

With all these new changes that are happening to Ski Town, USA now is the perfect time to start planning your ski vacation to Steamboat Resorts and there’s no easier way to rent your skis then through Ski Butlers.
