Don’t miss one of the biggest and best gay ski weeks in the world! 2012 marks the 20th anniversary of Whistler’s WinterPRIDE. GayWhistler’s WinterPRIDE Is The Evolution Of The Annual Gay & Lesbian Ski & Snowboard Festival

The infamous Peak to Creek Race also took place on Friday February 3 and Saturday February 4, 2012. Hundreds of skiers of various levels team up to race down from the very top of Whistler Mountain ending up in the Creekside. Lots of fun, prizes and apres for all.

So how do we fit all this in, while some of us have to work too?? We can’t participate in all these great events, but how lucky are we to have the opportunity to do so. And think about the variety of people we get to meet in the village who all have a different, fascinating story to tell of what has brought them to Whistler. It’s usually a collection of things that brings everyone back — the amazing snow, the never ending variety of skiable terrain, the great village atmosphere and the warmth and hospitality of the Canadians, eh.
