Ski Butlers Raises $1,600 for Protect Our Winters

Core Value #7 — Make a Difference in the Community

At Ski Butlers, we like to give back to the communities that have given us so much. Part of the way to do this is through our Round-Up Program. Our round-up program raises money for local non-profits in the winter sports industry. Customers can round-up” their bill to the nearest dollar or donate a flat amount of $5, $10, or $20.

Ski Butlers raised $2,271.13 during the 2013 – 2014 ski season, including $1600 to Protect Our Winters (POW).

Protect Our Winters — $1600

POW’s mission is to engage and mobilize the winter sports community to lead the fight against climate change. Their focus is on educational initiatives, advocacy and the support of community-based projects, united towards a common goal of reducing climate change’s effects on our sports and local economies.

This is a natural fit for Ski Butlers and personal passion of mine to be working with POW. We need companies like Ski Butlers to get into the fight, to step up and change the world and stop climate change. The one positive thing when talking about climate change is that we, as a global community, can stop it. I believe that Ski Butlers will part of the solution.
