We are skiing in Summit County!

It’s that time of year for Summit County skiers and riders! With some assistance from Mother Nature as well as cold evenings, Summit County resort chairlifts are moving and the 2010 — 2011 ski season is under way.
Araphaoe Basin opened on October 25th with a fluffy, white blanket over the mountain for a real powder day. Operations are in full swing. A‑Basin presently has a Midway Snow Depth of 18″ with 7 trails (115 acres) of skiing open.
Loveland Ski Area was the first ski area to open in Colorado on October 24th. Snowfall gave snowmakers a helping hand by delivering nearly 3 feet of natural snow. Conditions are great at Loveland Ski Area! The Snowmaking & Trail Main Crew are working hard to get more trails open. They’re working on the Valley (Chair 3 & 7) and Chair 2. They’re also working on trying to get the park moved to Tempest. Keep checking back for updates.
Copper Mountain opened the 2010 — 2011 season yesterday with an all around good time. Recent storms dropped a good amount of pre-season snow at the beginning of the week and Copper took advantage of this with a perfect opening day run. Be sure to check out MURS and Lyrics Born TONIGHT at 8 PM!!!
Keystone 40th year anniversary season is underway! Keystone opened yesterday with a sunny, 50 degree day! Open trails include: Spring Dipper Top to Bottom, Terrain Park Top of Spring Dipper 20+ Rails, Dutchman to Dutchwhacker across to Spring Dipper, River Run Top to Bottom, Beginner Areas: RR Gondola Mid Stations, Summit Tip Top Carpet, Endeavor to Ranger Lift.
