Where to stay in Jackson Hole, Wyoming

If you’re planning on skiing for most of your trip, Jackson Hole Mountain has some of the best slopeside lodging. Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa is rated one of the top 30 resorts out west. With ski-in access and beautiful views from the rooftop hot tub, it’s one of the most elegant getaways. For a more boutique vibe, stay at Caldera House, just next to the mountain tram. This hotel offers customized adventure packages and 24-hour spa access. 

If you’re looking to spend more time in town, check out Snow King Resort. It’s located at Snow King Mountain and just 12 miles from Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. They offer a free shuttle to the nearby airport, and it’s just a few minutes from Grand Teton National Park. Looking for something closer to nature? The Bentwood Inn eco-lodge is part of National Geographic’s Unique Lodges of the World. Where to ski in Jackson Hole

If you’re planning on alpine skiing, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is the place to be. With a 4,139-foot vertical drop and 2,500 acres over two mountain peaks, it’s known for its legendary steeps, vertical drop, and epic powder. Jackson Hole has groomed terrain and cliffs for experts and beginners alike. The recent expansion includes more beginner and intermediate runs the whole family can enjoy. Further into the Caribou-Targhee National Forest, you’ll find the Grand Targhee Mountain Resort. This mountain has short lines and perfect snow. They’ll even exchange your lift ticket for another day if you’re not happy with your time there. Closer to town you can test out Snow King Mountain Resort. They have more than just skiing here too — you can go snowboarding, tubing, or try the Cowboy Coaster! The ski lifts open at 10 am on weekdays and 9 am on weekends. The sports school is open every day from 8 am — 8 pm. Buy your lift tickets and other passes online here.

What else is there to do near Jackson Hole?

Teton Village is the Swiss-style area right at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Better known as the Vill”, Teton Village has some of the best après – ski spots, live music, and fun shops.
